Winnie in space with the moon that looks oddly like a golf ball.

A rocket made from a funnel, some cans, an oatmeal box and a kitchen strainer.

But, not to worry, it has all the bells and whistles, sights and sounds to give Winnie the experience of her life.  And in the end, while her curiosity is quenched, she also learns a lesson about friendship and compassion.  And that might be most important of all.

So, get ready to count down and blast off...

The Mouse on the Moon!

Imagine a little mouse named Winnie who is just so incredibly curious!  She loves looking with a magnifying glass through blades of grass at her insect friends; reading books about far away places; and most of all, dreaming about outer space - especially the moon!  How she loves to gaze at it through her telescope night after night, longing and wondering what it would be like to set foot on its surface. She's a humble little rodent with an enormous dream.

She has two friends, Freddie Frog and Jasper Rabbit, who would like to help her.  But they too lack the know-how and the means.  So what is there to do?  Simply put, they use their imagination to create a home-made ride through space and a visit to the moon.
